Suthep says he told Yingluck to return ruling mandate to people

Suthep Thaugsuban, the leader of the anti-government protesters, said he told Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra during a meeting to return ruling mandate to the people.

Suthep announced that he told Yingluck the people would like to set up a council to draft new rules to make the country truely democratic before holding a new election.
He said he told the prime minister that his group would not stop until it achieved the goal of drafting new rules for the country.
Suthep said Yingluck did not say anything during the meeting.
