Monks find themselves caught in middle

Some 100 Buddhist monks and novices from Wat Benchamabopit in Dusit district in Bangkok have found themselves in a "hot zone" after protesters clashed with police on Sunday.
Security measures prevent merit-makers from entering the area to reach the temple, so the National Office of Buddhism has sent the monks dried food and drinking water, office chief Nopparat Benjawatananun said.
