BMA to provide one-month free BTS ride on extended Silom route from Thursday

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra said Wednesday that Bangkok commuters on the Thon Buri side will enjoy free BTS skytrain ride on the four stations of the extended Silom route for one month, starting Thursday.

The governor said the system of the four extended stations has been completed so the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will allow free ride between Bang Wa station to Phonimit station.
After the free test-run period, commuters who take the train from Bang Wa, Wuthakat, Talad Plu and Phonimitr stations will be charged a flat rate of Bt10 from January 6, Sukhumbhand said.
