Military and police chiefs agree to meet Suthep

Army Commander in Chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha and Police Chief Gen Adul Saengsingkaew have agreed to attend a meeting with rally leader Suthep Thaugsuban.
Suthep said he contacted both generals via telephone today.
Speaking at a rally site, Suthep said he will invite Supreme Commander Gen Thanasak Patimaprakorn soon.
Suthep, secretary general of the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), earlier said he wished to meet chiefs of the military and police to explain the stance of the protesters regarding political and country's reforms.
He added that Adul would join the meeting with the military chiefs. The PDRC did not want to put pressure, Suthep said, he just needed to brief them about people's movement and listen to their recommendations.
Suthep planned to meet to former premier Anand Panyarachun and leading social critic Prawase Wasi to listen to their suggestions.
