Bangkok's lowest temperature for Wednesday predicted at 18 degree

The Meteorological Department predicted that the mercury in Bangkok on Wednesday would drop to 18 Celsius degree at the lowest.
It its daily forecast released at 4 am for 6 am Wednesday to 6 am Thursday, the department said the lowest temperature in Bangkok during the period would range between 18 to 20 Celsius degree.
The department attributed to the drop in temperature to the strong high pressure ridge from China that extends to upper Thailand.
It said the minimum temperature on mountaintops in the North range from 1 to 3 degrees and the minimum temperature on the lowland in the region range between 8 to 14 degrees.
