11-month auto sales down 5.8%

Vehicle sales in the first 11 months of this year dropped by 5.8 per cent on year to 1.2 million units, according to data compiled by Toyota Motor Thailand.
Of total, 580,169 passenger cars were sold which showed a 3.5 per cent decrease from the same period last year. Meanwhile, 636,582 commercial vehicles were sold, down by 7.8 per cent.
Toyota anticipates a recovery in December sales, as December is the best-selling month thanks to promotion campaigns.
