The Election Commission resolved Tuesday to not attend a meeting on the proposal to postpone the February 2 election, EC commissioner Somchai Srisuthiyakorn said.
Somchai said the EC saw that the meeting, which would be held for two hours with participation with many sides, would not lead to any conclusion.
The EC wants the government to hold a meeting with the EC before inviting other groups to join the talk, Somchai said.
