Buddhist chanting services for Niramol Muntarbhorn, widow of late Professor Smarn Muntarbhorn, will take place daily at 7pm until January 22 at Sala 27, Wat That Thong, Bangkok.
Niramol leaves behind three children – Kanit, Vitit and Siraporn Muntarbhorn.
Smarn was a pioneer surgeon, who in gratitude for his untiring effort to elevate the field of cardiac surgery was awarded the Royal Honorary Doctorate in Thailand. He was also recently named the “Father of Thai Cardiac Surgery”.
