Police start reclaim areas from Democracy Monument from protesters

Police in full gear on Friday started reclaiming areas near the Democracy Monument through Makawan Rangsan Bridge which is used as rally site of anti-government protesters, Nation Channel reported.
They removed sacks of sands set up as barriers near the bridge.
However the attempt faced no resistance from the protesters whose numbers are small. The areas were controlled by Student and People Network for Thailand's Reform and Dharma Army.
