The complaint against Yaowapha, from Pheu Thai Party, alleged that she had used 20 cars to transport people to vote for her.
EC secretary-general Puchong Nutrawong said the majority of EC members rejected the complaint because they could not establish the link between Yaowapha and the cars’ owners.
In another move, the EC handed the first red card to Nakhon Pathom senator-candidate Thanawat Kaewrungphet because he had used harsh language in his campaign posters.
However, as Thanawat did not win the election he was not required to pay for a new election.
