NACC rejects Yingluck's request to increase number of rice-pledging witnesses

The National Anti-Corruption Commission Tuesday voted not allow caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to present more defence witnesses in the rice-pledging case.

The NACC voted that the defence had already presented enough witnesses and the NACC committee in charge of the case would comply information from the defence witnesses for the full EC to consider before making a decision whether to indict Yingluck.
Yingluck was accused of nonfeasance, allowing the scheme to be plagued with massive corruption.
