Senator Paibul asks Constitutional Court to order appointment of new PM in seven days

Senator Paibul Nititawan Tuesday asked the Constitutional Court to order the appointment of a new prime minister within seven days if it rules against Yingluck Shinawatra in the case of National Security Council chief Thawil Pliensri's transfer.

Paibul made the request while he testified to the Constitutional Court against caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck.
Paibul said if the court removes Yingluck from office with the ruling on Wednesday, the new prime minister should be appointed within seven days to prevent the country’s economy from being affected.
