Prayuth says NCPO summoned people involved in conflicts to calm them down

Chief of National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) General Prayuth Chan-ocha said Friday night The NCPO had to summon people to report because there were individuals who were directly and indirectly involved in the violence and unrest in the country.

The NCPO separated them so that they could calm down and had time to rethink about their past actions and listen others' opinions, Prayuth said.
The summons were aimed to restore peace and stop the violence so that the country could move forward. He said the NCPO took good care of the people who reported to the junta.
Those who refused to report to NCPO were considered uncooperative, they will be prosecuted according to the law, Prayuth said.
He said all sides should cooperate and stop using violence and differences should be discussed in order to find agreeable solutions and move the country forward.
