BMA asked to implement measures to bring about reconciliation

The National Council for Peace and Order has asked the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to implement nine measures to help it achieve national reconciliation, Bangkok City clerk Ninnart Chalitanon said Thursday.

The BMA was asked to put up placards stating the reasons behind the NCPO seizing power, monitor and report anti-coup protest moves to it on a daily basis, monitor reconciliation activities and get as much media coverage as it could on the junta’s activities.
The agency must monitor and report movements of armed militants and dispatch municipal police to team up soldiers to get the public to understand the NCPO’s objectives.
