Prayuth urges international community not to boycott Thailand

Junta chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha said Friday night the international community should allow Thailand to play leading or crucial role in the international arena.
Speaking during his weekly TV programme, Prayuth said it would bode well to the international community to allow Thailand to play its role in the international arena.
He insisted that Thailand under the junta’s administration did not abandon democracy but the junta was reforming the fundamental for sustainable democracy instead.
He also asked Thais and the international community not to criticise or oppose the NCPO’s moves too soon. On the other hand, they should give the NCPO support.
