Junta's legal team explains provisional constitution

A legal team of the junta on Wednesday explained in a televised programme background and details of the provisional constitution that became effective yesterday.
Junta chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha yesterday received the constitution from HM the King during an audience at Hua Hin Palace.
The constitution empowers the junta chief and his National Council of Peace and Order to remain in power and work along with a National Legislative Assembly and a government that are to be set up.
