NCPO chief expresses concern over increasing attacks against Muslims in deep South

Junta chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha Friday night expressed concern that more Muslims became victims of insurgency attacks in the deep South.

“What the NCPO [National Council for Peace and Order] concerns is that there are increasing incidents of innocent Muslims being attacked. All of us are Thai people, no matter what religions we uphold. We can live together despite our religious differences,” Prayuth said during his weekly TV programme.
