Residents of seven provinces warned of heavy rains

The Meteorological Department Sunday warned residents of Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnart Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Chanthaburi and Trat to brace themselves for heavy downpours.
The department said a low pressure ridge from Vietnam and the southwest monsoon wind over the Andaman and Gulf of Thailand would unleash the rains.
