Prayuth denies NCPO ignores corruption problems in reform plans

Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha Friday denied that the National Council for Peace and Order ignored the corruption problems in the national reform plans.

"I have also heard concerns from certain sectors that the NCPO has not included the prevention and tackling of corruption in the 11-point Reform Agenda. I wish to state here that the NCPO gives extreme importance to this matter and see it as one of the first issues that need to be tackled by reforms," Prayuth said during his weekly TV programme.

He said the NCPO set corruption prevention as important condition for every reform agenda, including political and administration reforms.
