Damrongdharma centres a priority, governors told

Wiboon Sanguanpong, permanent secretary of the Interior Ministry yesterday ordered provincial governors to draw roadmaps for the development of Damrongdharma centres - a nationwide establishment of the centres were initiated by National Council for Peace

He told the governors that their performances would be significantly judged by their roles in the development of the centres within their provinces.
The centres aim to boost the responsiveness of provincial and district administration to NCPO policy and provide high-quality service to people’s daily concerns.
The focus on centre development will be on multiple dimensions, for example, the effectiveness in implementation of NCPO policies, providing one-stop-services, service links and acting as information centres for the people.
The permanent secretary said most people went to the centres to lodge complaints about their struggles and most centres were able to respond well, though some provincial centres still have room for improvement.
