Sigve Brekke assumes Dtac's control

Sigve Brekke, the vice chairman of Total Access Communication PLC (Dtac) and a successful CEO of the telecom company, will assume the old title again on Jon Eddy Abdullah's resignation.

Abdullah has resigned from his position as CEO of Dtac and Chairman Boonchai Bencharongkul has started the process of appointing a new CEO, according to a Dtac statement.
“Brekke has been asked to serve as the interim CEO of Dtac until a new CEO has been identified. He has significant experience with Dtac, currently sitting on the board of directors as vice chairman and previously heading up the company as CEO from 2005 to 2008,” said Boonchai.
