Buses collide in Bang Phli

A total of 22 workers were injured when their company bus collided with another bus in Bang Phli in Samut Prakan yesterday morning.
Following the 6.30am accident, police rushed to a U-turn on Theparak Road in tambon Bang Pla and found the 22-year-old driver of the GFPT Co bus, Sompong Khongton, trapped.
Ruamkatanyu Foundation rescue workers had to use a cutting machine to remove parts and free his leg. The driver and 21 workers were only slightly hurt.
The other bus driver, Oom Damdee, 47, told police that he drove an empty bus to pick up factory workers and was taking a U-turn without seeing the GFPT Co bus. His bus was hit mid-body by the GFPT workers’
