Deputy governor Amorn Kitchawengkul said yesterday BMA was negotiating with the Crown Property Bureau to rent a plot in Bangkok’s Bang Khun Thien district.
“The new sports and musical school will focus on developing students to become music or sports professionals,” he said. “Many kids have a lot of passion in sport or music. But they are not able to reach their full potentials in those fields because school’s curriculums do not support their interests.”
Amorn said the school, with professionals in different fields, would be available for Prathom 1 to Matthayom 6. The project will start during the term of BMA governor ML Sukhumbhand Paribatra’s administration term, he added.
