Indonesia's Sinabung volcano erupts again

Jakarta (dpa) - A volcano on the Indonesian island of Sumatra erupted on Wednesday, sending rocks and hot gas into the air, an official said.

The activity was the latest from Mount Sinabung, which erupted earlier this year and killed 16 people.
There were no reports of casualties from the latest eruption, said Sutopo Nugroho, a spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency said.
Nearly 5,000 people are still living in temporary shelters in Karo district after an earlier round of activity, he said.
