Cop told to stop building

A policeman being probed over his claim to land in Trang's Sikao district says he will lodge a complaint at the Administrative Court today after the Hat Chao Mai National Park ordered him to stop construction of an entrance to the property.
Park head Manoch Wongsurirat, accompanied by soldiers, yesterday told Lt-Colonel Sathit Chansorn to halt the construction pending an investigation into whether his claim to have continuously used the land and his application for land ownership was legitimate.
Sathit insisted he had not done anything wrong.
