Prayut says he agrees with Myanmar's president to step up cooperation to fight drug trafficking

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Friday evening that he had agreed with Myanmar President Thein Sein during his recent trip to Myanmar to step up cooperation to fight narcotics trafficking.

“We agreed that more collaboration is needed and procedures must be simplified,” Prayut said during his weekly TV programme.
“Both demand and supply issues need to be tackled if we are to yield sustainable results. Thailand is ready to provide input towards supporting the cultivation of alternative and replacement crops.”
