Bahrain PM promises to buy rice from Thailand

Visiting Bahrain Prime Minister Khalifa Al Khalifa Monday made a pledge to his Thai counterpart, Prayut Chan-o-cha, to buy rice from Thailand, Deputy Government Spokesman Weerachon Sukhonthapatipak said.
The Bahrain prime minister visited Prayut at the Government House at 2 pm.
He said the rice purchase would be an immediate cooperation between the two countries, which would also use existing mechanisms to boost bilateral cooperations.
Weerachon quoted the Bahrain prime minister as telling Prayut that he had noticed the improvement of the situation in Thailand, especially on security affairs. The visiting prime minister also praised Thais for their friendly hospitality.
