A chance to learn about homelessness

Issarachon Foundation and the Department of Social Development and Welfare's Ban Mit Maitree has invited the public to a "Homeless Day" event on Friday at Khlong Lot 2 Market in Soi Tha Din Daeng of Bangkok's Khlong San district.
The event is aimed at telling the public about homeless issues and creating opportunities for the People Living in Public Area (PLPA)’s access to social welfare. The event would also feature a photo show, over 10 booths of welfare information and food and a 120-minute discussion on stage about the alternatives and opportunities of PLPA after the implementation of draft legislation to protect homeless people.
