Prajin insists taxi fare to be increased by 13 per cent, not 20

Transport Minister Prajin Juntong Thursday insisted that taxi fare will be allowed to rise by 13 per cent, not 20 per cent as demanded by some taxi operators.
Prajin said the 13 per cent increase has been well calculated to cover all the factors.
He said only a group of taxi drivers demanded the 20 per cent rate as the rest of drivers and operators were happy with the 13 per cent increase.
