Soi Dog Foundation's Mobile Adoptions return for a third time

The Soi Dog Foundation is organising its third Mobile Adoptions Event, which will be the second time to be held at Central Festival in Phuket, on Saturday, November 8.

The event will see many puppies and kittens, all of them vaccinated and sterilised, eagerly awaiting adoption by new owners.
Prospective pet-owners are also welcome to visit the shelter in Mai Khao where there are dozens of cats and hundreds of dogs also available for adoption. Shelter visiting times are 8am to noon and 1 to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Currently the majority of the adoptions from Soi Dog go overseas. The UK is the number one country for adoptions followed by the USA. To reach the goal of 500 adoptions per year within the next 2 years Soi Dog hopes to improve the local adoption rate.
The process of a local adoption is much quicker and there are also no adoption costs. Soi Dog also offers ongoing support and follow-up with all adopters for up to four months after the dog or cat leaves the shelter.
“With so many loving animals available for adoption, we hope to see many interested adopters at this event. It was a resounding success last time and we hope to replicate this, ”says the Foundation’s Cristy Baker.
The event starts at 11am until 3pm in the outdoor area near Wine Connection. For more details, email [email protected] or call 0937099622. Soi Dog would like to thank Central Festival and Class Act Media for sponsoring this event.
