South Korean captain jailed for 36 years over ferry disaster

Seoul (dpa) - Sewol ferry captain Lee Joon Seok is jailed for 36 years for abandoning his vessel's passengers, the Yonhap News Agency reports.

The court finds him not guilty of murder at the trial of the sunkenv essel's crew in Gwangju.
