Insurgents cause disturbances at 29 locations against holding talk with post-coup govt

Insurgent groups put up cloth banners, launched arson attacks and planted bombs at 29 spots in Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat, questioning appropriateness of holding talks with a post-coup government.

The banners were seen Monday mornning as Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was making an official visit to Malaysia. Holding peace dialogue with the insurgents via Malayisan mediation was on the agenda of the visit.
