Central Group expresses regret over shelf collapse

The company issued a statement yesterday in response to the Sunday incident. The incident occurred in the paint section of the store at 4pm, putting a husband and wife and their daughter in hospital with minor injuries. Central said the trio had been treated at Bangkok Hospital on the island. The parents have been discharged, though the child is being observed. Central said it “takes full responsibility for all expenses” and will release findings of an investigation into the incident soon.
