Concrete panel falls and kills one in Khon Kaen

The accident took place while the victims were waiting for a van at the department store’s parking zone.
“The panel is about 2 metres wide and 2 metres long,” Pol Colonel Supakorn Khamsingnork said in his capacity as the acting chief of the Muang Khon Kaen Police Station.
According to the police investigation, the victims dropped into the shopping plaza for lunch during a trip from Nakhon Ratchasima province to Sakhon Nakhon province.
Supakorn said forensic-science officials would carefully review evidence to determine whether the accident took place because of recklessness on the part of the shopping centre’s management.
