Opinions collection to start in Suphan Buri

A Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC)'s subcommittee will begin its campaign to gather opinions on the new charter from people nationwide in Suphan Buri province next week, its chairwoman; Tawinwadee Burikul, said on Monday.

The two-day forum at Suphan Buri will be held from January 17.  The subcommittee will then move to Roi Et province on January 24 and 25.

She said the purpose of the campaign is to encourage the public to voice their opinions on what they think are important matters for the country, such as having sincere politicians, reconciliation measures or efforts to reduce social inequality.
She said the subcommittee’s desire was to gather diverse opinions and was confident that the subcommittee would be able to reach conclusions on the general consensus towards important matters before submitting them to the Constitution Drafting Committee.
