The Cabinet Tuesday endorsed a proposal from the Labour Ministry to register Vietnamese migrants in a move to regulate foreign workers based in Thailand, deputy government spokesman Maj-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said Tuesday.
Vietnamese nationals who work as housemaids, fishermen as well as construction and restaurant workers, can register and apply for a work permit with the onestop service centre at the province they are based in, Sansern said.
