Disabled lottery vendors protest against lottery sale at convenience stores

Over 100 disabled lottery vendors camp outside the Government House public service centre Tuesday as their leader, Santisuk Polsawing, submits a petition on their behalf calling for a greater quota of lottery tickets and opposing the plan to sell lottery

The group also suggested that the exorbitant retail price of the lottery tickets stemmed from the insufficient supply to meet consumer demand; however, this could be remedied, they said, if the government produced more tickets and gave the disabled vendors an increased quota.
