Embassy offers help to Thais in Nepal

Thai Embassy in Nepal has reached out to all Thais living and travelling in the country following the disastrous quake, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Sek Wannamethee.

Some 100 Thais are residing in the country with about 60 in Kathmandu, he said. About 10 are now seeking refuge at the embassy.
The embassy has dispatched a team to check hotels and major tourist destinations whether any Thai travellers need help, he added.
He said all are safe, with some being injured.
