The Policy Committee on Human Trafficking and Illegal Fishing, set up by the Prime Minister’s Office on February 17, will set the policies for the CCCIF.
This move is in response to the European Union’s demand that Thailand adhere to its Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing regulations within six months and for the Thai fishing industry to meet international standards.
