Prayut orders constructions of bike lane guards
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha instructed the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Interior Ministry and the Transport Ministry to build barriers to protect bike lanes to ensure safety of cyclists.
Deputy Government Spokesman Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd said the prime minister gave the order during the weekly Cabinet meeting on Thursday when he expressed concern for the safety of cyclists after four cyclists were killed and five injured in three road crashes this week.
