The State Railway of Thailand resumed train services to the three southern border provinces at 8:30 am Wednesday after a Yala-Bangkok, which derailed in Songkhla's Thepha district, was salvaged.
The train derailed Tuesday evening. Officials said the derailment was caused by old and defective railway, not by insurgency attack.
