Homes and public structures in Chiang Rai damaged by rainstorm

Local officials yesterday inspected the damage Monday night's storm did to over 100 homes and public structures in Chiang Rai's Phraya Mengrai district.
Nuttisuk Puma, president of the Mae Pao Sub-district Administrative Organisation, said yesterday while inspecting the wreckage that the storm caused extensive damage, particularly at Moo 4, Moo 8, and Moo 18 villages.
Of the 100 houses and public buildings damaged, two houses were completely destroyed, he said.
