Classmates of student activists' launch Post It campaign

Members of the Dao Din group at Khon Kaen University set up a "Post It for Friends" campaign at the college's Faculty of Law to show their support for 14 of their classmates who were arrested on Friday.

Many members of the public joined the event by writing messages of support on Post It notes and sticking them on a board next to the faculty’s sign.
Wichakorn Anuchon, a member of Dao Din, said they launched the campaign to support the 14 anti-coup activists.
After the event, however, the Dao Din members took down the Post It notes and said more activities would be arranged to show support for their friends.
Plenty of soldiers, security guards and police officers were on hand to make sure the students were not a threat to peace and order.
