4.8-magnitude quake hits Kanchanaburi

A 4.8-magnitude earthquake happened in Kanchanaburi's Sangkha Buri district at 9:25 pm Tuesday night, Prasert Thamrongwisawa, the director of the Wachiralongkorn Dam, said.
He said the quake had no impact on the dam although its epicenter was about 27.21 kilometers northeast from the dam. The Kanchanaburi Disaster Warning Centre said the quake’s epicenter was about four kilometres below the earth’s surface.
