Pol probing 'suspicious' stock transfers continue

Police investigating the death of businessman Chuwong Saetang are continuing to consider "suspicious" corrections on stock-transfer documents he signed days before his death to the benefit of two women, an informed source said yesterday.

Tomorrow, representatives of the Securities and Exchange Commission will provide information to police about stock transfer steps, the source added.
Earlier, assistant national police chief Lt-General Prawut Thavornsiri said he would call a meeting on Friday of Metropolitan Police Bureau investigators probing the cause of death and Crime Suppression Division investigators probing the stock transfers to exchange information, so they could exchange information and finalise points.
Prawut said the two women who received the stock shares would be summoned to provide additional information to investigators.
