Two more arrested over UFUN scheme

Two more suspects involved in the alleged UFUN pyramid scheme have been arrested, assistant national police chief Pol Lt-General Suwira Songmetta told the press yesterday.

Jewellery businessman Kanpatchasin Pitpaiboon, 42, reportedly had 796 downline members in the scheme and served as a speaker for UFUN.
Pongsak Pulsuk, 44, was accused of inviting 253 others to join the scheme and causing damages worth Bt12 million.
Suwira said police expected to arrest at least 100 of the 110 suspects who are still at large by the end of this month.
