Jakthip selected as next police chief
The Royal Thai Police Board unanimously voted to appoint Deputy Police Commissioner General Pol Gen Jakthip Chaijinda as the eleventh police commissioner general.
Jakthip will succeed Pol Gen Somyot Poompunmuang who will retire on September 30.
