SCB donates US$100,000 to help Myanmar flood victims

The SCB announced in a press release that the SCB Chairman of the Executive Committee Dr Vichit Suraphongchai has handed over the amount to Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Khin Saw Oo.
The donations will go to the Fund for the Relief for Flood Victims in Myanmar managed by the Ministry of Social Welfare Relief and Resettlement.
SCB would like to invite clients, employees and members of the public to participate in donating to help Myanmar flood victims through account No. 111-3-90911-5 under the name of “Siam Commercial Foundation-SCB Relief for Natural Disaster Victims.
Donations will be free of inter-region charges via any SCB branch or SCB ATM nationwide. The Bank will gather the donations and deliver them to the Thai Red Cross Society so that they will be forwarded to the Myanmar Red Cross for urgent relief purposes.
