Bangladesh promises to hunt for alleged Erawan Shrine blast mastermind

Thai police have said the alleged mastermind, Abu Dustar Abdulrahman or Izan, a Chinese national, had fled to Bangladesh and Thai police had sought help from Interpol to coordinate with the South Asian country to hunt for the suspect.
Bangladesh's Assistant Inspector General (Media) Nazrul Islam told The Daily Star that he could not immediately ascertain whether any cooperation is sought through Interpol.
“Whenever any cooperation is sought from Interpol we take it seriously and take legal action.”
Bangladeh's Director Intelligence wing of Rab Lt Col Abul Kalam Azad told The Daily Star, “We will take the matter seriously and will obviously look into it.”
