Panadda quits as permanent secretary for PM's Office

PM'S Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul said yesterday he has submitted his resignation as permanent secretary of the PM's Office.

Panadda said the resignation would take effect on October 1. His resignation will prompt him to leave government service a year before his mandatory retirement next year.
Panadda said he submitted his resignation note to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The prime minister has ordered Cabinet members who are also permanent officials to leave state service by the end of this month.
